    Summary:

    The Senior Analyst, Production Planning, will coordinate the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process within the organization. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency, balance demand and supply, align inventory, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    • Become the resident expert in the ERP system, including compilation of data from disparate sources to develop meaningful and critical information to the business leaders.
    • Lead the design and implementation of the SIOP process, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
    • Use manufacturing scheduling concepts to establish and manage a schedule that is clearly communicated for quickest response times and accurate commitment dates.
    • Establish and adjust standard lead times utilizing capacity planning tools and provide opportunity for expedite orders to be processed as needed by the customer.
    • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Chair regular SIOP meetings to review performance, discuss potential risks and opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to drive business results.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the SIOP process, leveraging data analytics and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    The Senior Analyst is responsible for providing effective leadership, guidance, and support to the entire business team, ensuring they have the resources and capabilities to fulfill their responsibilities and contribute to the organization's success.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Demonstrated expert level data analysis skills including MS Excel, ERP systems, and related systems.
    • 5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations planning, or related roles, with a strong focus on scheduling, demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
    • Proven experience leading the development and implementation of SIOP processes within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
