The Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic schools serve more than 40,000 students in 150 elementary and high schools in Cook and Lake counties. The Director of Institutional Advancement and Mission Integration reports to the principal and will work closely with the Principal and President to promote the mission of Northside Catholic Academy through relationships with NCA’s four parishes and the local community. S/he will lead fundraising and marketing efforts and be responsible for relationships with major donors, foundations, and alumni.

This is a 12-month position with full benefits.
Advancement and marketing

•  Create and execute strategies to raise funds, increase donor engagement, and promote the organization's mission.
• Evaluate current fundraising strategies and methods and recommend changes as appropriate.
• Present to the Board an annual development plan for achieving specific goals.
• Oversee the Annual Fund, Special Events, Major Donor Program and Grants to meet or exceed annual development plan income goals.
• Oversee all aspects of the grant-writing program.
• Makes timely and accurate responses to donor concerns, requests, and gifts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, alumni and corporate funders.
• Identify and research prospective donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, organizations.
• Prepare solicitation materials, including direct mail appeals, and newsletters.
• Educate internal stakeholders about fundraising and marketing.
• Acknowledge gifts on behalf of the School.
• Conduct donor recognition and stewardship programs.
• Supervise coordinator of enrollment, office staff and volunteers in enrollment, marketing, and fundraising.
• Work collaboratively with the School Board Marketing and Development Committee.
• Attend meetings, both at the Archdiocese and other places to network and gain professional knowledge.

Mission Integration

• Develop school-parish relationships and partnerships with NCA’s four parishes and pastors.
• In collaboration with Principal, develop new initiatives to enhance the mission of the school.
• Develop relationships with local charitable organizations.
• Serve on operations and leadership team.
• Other duties as assigned by the principal.
