Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Production Supervisor to oversee our night shift operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team to ensure efficient production processes and maintain high-quality standards.This is an opportunity to apply your organization, mentorship, and hands-on training experience to enable a lean manufacturing environment.
This role will start on day shift to train and move into a night shift role later in the summer as needed.
This role is based in Weirton, West Virginia at our Form Factory 1 operation.
What You'll Do- Supervise night shift production activities to ensure timely completion of production schedules.
- Coordinate with the production team to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Enforce safety procedures and regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to streamline workflow and resolve any operational challenges.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Train and mentor production staff to improve skills and enhance productivity.
- Facilitate shift transitions by leading process handoff sessions between shift overlaps
- Be a culture champion that creates a uniform employee experience across all shift schedules.
- 5 years working in a leadership role within a manufacturing
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
