Ocean Surgical Pavilion is seeking a Part Time Endoscopy Technician to work Monday – Friday and work collaboratively with our health care team. We are willing to train a medical assistant with patient experience for this role.
Major responsibilities include: assisting physicians during endoscopy procedures, handling patient specimens, processing endoscopes with high level disinfection, maintaining adequate inventory and restocking of supplies, assisting with patient care in the PACU, and performing other miscellaneous duties as per center needs.
Candidate must possess patient care experience, willing to train in all aspects of being an endoscopy technician.
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- BLS Certification
- The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds in weight
- 1 year of experience as an endoscopy technologist (preferred)
- Hours of work may vary to meet patient and center needs
