Employee Services Director directs the selection, design, and implementation of employee engagement programs geared to attract and retain employees and promote a healthy and productive work environment. Evaluates programs focused on work-life, child care, fitness, discounts, remote working, education, training, and others to provide options that engage employees. Being an Employee Services Director develops processes to analyze and assess program utilization, employee feedback, competitiveness, and workforce productivity to ensure that a cost-effective mix of programs is offered. Designs policies and procedures to promote efficiency and optimize administrative hours to control costs. Additionally, Employee Services Director researches and remains up to date with evolving changes in the employee experience space to identify areas to improve employee engagement and work experience. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Employee Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Employee Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Community Options department of Residential Services is looking for an energetic, engaging, highly motivated Director of Services for our Residential Services Program in Grand Forks, ND. This position offers room for considerable growth with the organization. As a Director of Services, you will provide leadership for the daily program activities. The role is responsible for all planning, organizing, training, recruiting and retention of staff, and oversight of all program activities. The wage for this position is $23 to $26 an hour depending on experience

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree in human services, business, or a related field is preferred
    • Two (2) years' experience with human service or developmental disability (DD) programs; supervisory experience in either area preferred
    • Strong leadership and networking skills to build relationships with staff and community
    • Good communication skills, verbal and written, and excellent customer service skills
    • Access to working mobile phone (iPhone/ Android)
    • CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain successfully during new hire training period
    • A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state and the ability to travel based on operational and clientele needs
    • Successfully pass a criminal background check, including Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), drug screening, and ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval
    • Completion of training as required by Community Options
