The therapist should be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, body language and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly. Responsibilities:
- Perform electrolysis hair removal treatments using advanced techniques and equipment to permanently remove unwanted hair from the face and body
- Conduct client consultations to assess hair/skin type and determine appropriate electrolysis methods (galvanic, thermolysis, blend)
- Explain electrolysis procedures, benefits, and aftercare instructions to clients
- Ensure proper sanitization of equipment and workspace between clients
- Maintain accurate client records, documenting all treatments and progress
- Recommend complementary services, products, and treatment packages
- Attend staff meetings and ongoing training seminars to enhance knowledge and skills
- Remain current on new electrolysis techniques, equipment and industry best practices
- Promote a warm, welcoming atmosphere that ensures client comfort and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Electrologist license/certification valid in the state
- Extensive training/coursework from an accredited electrolysis program
- Minimum 2 years of professional electrolysis experience
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge of electrolysis modalities
- Thorough understanding of hair anatomy, skin disorders, and contraindications
- Strong client service skills with ability to put clients at ease
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness/sterilization protocols
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled
- Commitment to maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation
