Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises electrical engineers and technicians who design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Being an Electrical Engineering Supervisor coordinates projects with other technical teams and vendors to ensure engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production quality, and volume. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Electrical Engineering Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
$65,000 - $80,000
Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for: designing electronics and printed circuit boards; designing, coordinating, and conducting tests of electrical systems, parts, and equipment; evaluating test results and implementing corrections and adjustments to solve problems or inefficiencies; testing designs to ensure production capabilities; conduct research activities including exploration and selection of new components; prepare technical design specifications; perform embedded hardware design activities including component selection, schematic generation, bills of materials, and prototype tests, and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
Qualifications- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Experience with testing designs to ensure manufacturability required
- Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment required
- High mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to develop and maintain architecture, schematic, verification plans, and layouts of electrical and electronic systems preferred
- Experience with Arduino, RaspberryPi, PSpice or LTSpice preferred
- Automotive or agricultural background a plus
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
- Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Desire to work on a variety of projects
