EHR Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new EHR system for our skilled nursing facility and residential home. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex healthcare IT projects, a deep understanding of EHR systems and their impact on clinical workflows, and the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of stakeholders.
