SUMMARY
The Education Admin Support will work under the supervision of the Sr. Director of Science Education (or their designee) to provide administrative support of the day-to-day education team operations, across all five education team divisions: Youth Learning, Community Engagement, Curricular Projects, Public Programs and UBMS. This is a part-time, temporary position (6 months).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in creating and inputting invoices into Tessitura for outreach, partnership programs and more.
· Support the camp team through creating rosters, organizing waivers and assisting in material preparation.
· Assist the early learning team to support ECHOS and Mini-Me Science administrative needs.
· Support the organization of graphic and web requests across the department.
· Work with education leadership to organize curriculum across all teams into a single database.
· Work with education leadership on the coordination of partnership documentation such as MoUs and contracts.
· Provides administrative support across programming.
· Adhere to the established policies and procedures of the Museum.
· Effectively work with other museum staff, interns, and volunteers.
· Maintain excellent customer service by maintaining a positive and friendly attitude and through guest interactions by answering questions related to exhibit content, show times, directions, and other general information.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Background and/or strong interest in administration or science education.
