Field Safety Coordinator

Perform on site safety planning, auditing, coordination, and administration services. Assist the Safety and Compliance team in planning, development, coordination, and implementation of Environmental, Safety and Governmental Compliance policies, procedures, programs, and training.

Responsibilities:

• Performs Job Safety Analysis, site visits, audits, and observations for field operations and transportation activities
• Participates in on site project and safety planning meetings
• Develops and implements site specific Health and Safety Plans (HASP’s)
• Develops and implements Tool Box Topics, Safety Alerts, and corrective actions
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and regulations

Requirements:

• Is at least 21 years old and has a current, valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma/GED, with Safety Certifications, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Sciences, or Environmental Health and Safety
• Prior experience or internship in industrial safety and hazardous material operations preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Tech-savvy and experienced in general office or dedicated safety software
• Ability to read, evaluate, comprehend, and implement safety/compliance policies, procedures, regulations, and training
