Position Overview:

As the Operations Manager, you will serve as the driving force propelling our brand's success and embodying our core values. Your role entails overseeing the financial, operational, and employee performance of our facility, ensuring streamlined operations and delivering exceptional service. You'll take charge of managing our Transportation and Warehouse teams, providing strategic direction, support, and guidance to achieve predefined targets and uphold exemplary standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all departments, overseeing personnel matters and fostering professional growth.
• Implement efficient systems to control capital and operational expenses, as well as manpower.
• Ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of facilities and equipment.
• Cultivate productive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
• Uphold compliance with OSHA requirements and pertinent laws.
• Conduct performance assessments and offer constructive feedback to personnel.
• Establish clear performance expectations, fostering accountability through coaching and support.
• Collaborate with the HR/Payroll department to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies.
• Provide comprehensive financial and operational audits, along with insightful recommendations for enhancement.
• Recruit and retain a skilled workforce, collaborating with HR on recruitment strategies.
• Drive exceptional customer service and oversee administrative functions.
• Represent the company with integrity and professionalism in dealings with external stakeholders.
• Lead by example and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or a High School diploma with over 10 years of relevant experience in distribution.
• Over a decade of experience in the Distribution Industry, with comprehensive product knowledge.
• Extensive background in Management and Inventory control.
• 5-10 years of Sales experience.
• Proficiency in Profit and Loss analysis, Customer Service, Vendor Service, and budgeting.
• Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment Operations and Maintenance.
• Knowledge of Safety and Loss Prevention, DOT Regulations, and OSHA requirements.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean record.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

• Job duties may involve various physical activities including standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and reaching.

• Visual acuity necessary for close, distance, color, and depth perception tasks.

Travel:

• Anticipate 50% weekly travel, encompassing both in-state and out-of-state destinations.
• Occasional overnight trips for industry conferences or meetings.
• Attendance required at marketing and vendor gatherings, as well as companywide management meetings.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
