POSITION SUMMARY
A Dave’s Fresh Marketplace Dishwasher is responsible for making sure our departments have sanitary tools and equipment. This includes all duties related to dishwashing, unloading kitchen deliveries, and cleaning of all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Other areas of responsibility may include food preparation work and maintaining food quality and sanitation in kitchen.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Prior food service experience preferred, but not required
· Must be 18 years of age or older
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and instruments used by all departments
· Operate mechanical dishwashers and ensure that they are working properly
· Unload mechanical dishwashers
· Maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves of department
· Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe manner
· Perform food preparation work as directed
· Strict adherence to all Food Safety & Sanitation practices
· Adhering to all Dave’s Fresh Marketplace policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
· Follows all safety practices and procedures
· Adherence to department-specific dress code policy
· Completes cleaning tasks as required
· Performing other duties as assigned
