The role:

- Coordinate and execute communications campaigns that drive news cycles. Working with the CEO, you'll assist on every stage of the campaign from original concept to execution.

- Work closely with the CEO to identify trends and headlines to insert clients in the beating heart of the news cycle.

- Generate communications plans, messaging documents, and pitches that make heads turn.

- Build and nurture relationships with top press and influencers across business, consumer, tech, and trade media.

- Attend conferences with clients and assist with events.

Must haves:

- 3-5 years of experience in journalism, strategic communications, marketing or public relations.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build relationships.

- Killer attention to detail and a great work ethic/attitude.

- A genuine interest in the changing media landscape and a familiarity with who’s who.

- An entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to dive in. Our agency is growing fast and you'll grow with it.

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in public relations and strategic communications.

- Any bonus proficiencies such as social media management, marketing, digital advertising will be seriously considered.
