Job Summary
The Director of Quality, based in Oklahoma City will work in partnership with the VP of Commercial Quality and Service to ensure successful Project delivery and quality standards. The Director of Quality will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance/control management systems, processes and procedures to ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role also provides leadership and support to the Project Team and liaises with the production, engineering, service to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Create project quality plans for assigned projects and drive quality control strategy
- Drive improvements to positively impact the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Collaborate with Business Partners to support and evolve business and quality initiatives
- Contribute to and take part in OPR (Operational Project Review) process outcomes
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of quality management systems and processes to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with requirements.
- QC Interface and Management of Facilities contractors Quality requirements and deliverables.
- Proactive identification and rectification of Project weaknesses
- Deliver Project change programs and implement predictive performance measures
- Create a Project Quality culture - Right First Time in everything we do, so that there is personal commitment from all team members
- Accountable for the management of assigned elements of the project QMS and ensure appropriate system controls are in place at project level.
- Verifying through monitoring, surveillance and review the effectiveness and implementation of the project delivery processes and procedures.
- Contribute to procurement management activities.
- Plan and ensure closure of Project improvement activities and communicate Lessons Learned Actions.
- Develop tools to acquire, trend and analyze quality data in the course of production.
- Providing leadership in performance improvement.
- Enable the roll-out, promotion and maintenance of the Project Delivery Process and Procedures.
- Ensure adequate Quality Control expertise is available at the appropriate project delivery point (e.g. Supply Chain, construction, commissioning, handover)
- Review BIM360 entries
- Check for quality deficiencies
- Recommend proper response
- Request warranty/service parts
- Onsite evaluation
- Mechanical installation
- QA manufacturing, shipping, installation
- MOP creation
- Develop MOP planning with NAS technicians and customer reps
- QA review of MOP completion
- Close out & proper filing of documentation
- Provide QA recommendations back to manufacturing facilities
- Manufacturing changes/deficiencies
- Modification of shipping/packaging
- Recommendations for ease of service/installation of units & components
Required
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Business
- 5 years of professional and leadership work experience in a Quality management role
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key leaders across various functions (quality, engineering, manufacturing, & finance)
- Proven knowledge of Quality and process improvement
- Effective implementation of Quality Assurance/Control and Safety Management systems
- Experience with Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2015
- Awareness of the role of legislation and Regulatory bodies in project delivery. (PED/CE)
- Experience working with design and implementation contractors
- Experience working on engineering projects in a regulated environment
- Strong project management skills with a leading role in a project delivery team, solid analytical skills and a strong attention to detail required
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Persuasive Willing to challenge behaviors and actions
- Ability to think creatively to develop ideas and break through barriers
