Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Customer Segment Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Customer Segment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Segment Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. What You Will Be Doing The Sales Segment Manager will be responsible for working with our Marketing and Field Sales organizations to drive specifications and sales growth, on a national level, in key target segments including: Healthcare, Higher Education and Data Centers. This person will lead by coaching and mentoring effective selling techniques and develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate the healthcare market (primary). Be the “Key Segment Expert” for our targeted segments within the Rockfon NA team. Guide the organization’s understanding of industry trends, competitive strategies, product gaps and value creation Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients in the healthcare industry, including Group Purchasing Organizations, Facility Managers, architects and consultants Lead sales growth initiatives of Rockfon products in key segments with a focus on generating demand for our high-end tile and specialty metal offerings Drive specification rate improvement for Rockfon products through the adoption of technical information provided by Marketing (codes & standards) Develop Go-To-Market strategy for key segments, co-owned with Marketing Partner with Sales and divisional leadership to define and evolve the sales strategy in harmony with the divisional strategy to maximize long and short-term commercial achievement Conduct sales training for Sales teams Adopt and create KPIs to measure the success in key segments using CRM system What You Bring 5 years’ experience working in Sales in a similar role with a track record of success Expertise in the healthcare industry and strong relationships with key decision makers 4 Year Undergraduate Business degree preferred Demonstrated ability to coach and train others Strong organization, analytical and presentation skills Highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fast paced environment   What We Offer Competitive Salary Generous Benefits - Effective your first day!
