Credit and Collections Manager develops and administers credit and collection programs. Oversees investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers and advises on course of action for credit applications. Being a Credit and Collections Manager designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables. Monitors and negotiates the collection of overdue accounts. Additionally, Credit and Collections Manager monitors credit and collection processes and operations; makes recommendations on opportunities for improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Credit and Collections Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Credit and Collections Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. You’ll be conducting moderately complex customer billing analysis and activities by researching and resolving large and small wholesale customer billing claims.
What you’ll be doing...
Conducting moderately complex customer billing claims research, analysis and resolution.
Processing billing adjustments.
Working with internal sales, support and collections teams to ensure the timely resolution of outstanding issues.
Ensuring individual and departmental claims resolution targets are met.
Developing and documenting methods & procedures to ensure all processes are documented.
Supporting project initiatives and recommending process enhancements and efficiencies.

You are a well-organized, detail-oriented person who enjoys managing work efficiently to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, but you’ll also have a customer service orientation and be a great communicator who can interact well with a diverse range of people.
You’ll need to have:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Suite.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
One or more years of Accounts Receivable experience.
Prior commercial customer service, billing assurance or claims resolution experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
