Credit and Collections Director jobs in Georgia
Credit and Collections Director leads the overall credit function. Designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables. Being a Credit and Collections Director develops policies regarding the investigation of customers, extension of credit lines, and collections. Consults with current and future clients regarding their level of credit. Additionally, Credit and Collections Director oversees the negotiation and course of action taken for overdue accounts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Credit and Collections Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Credit and Collections Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Job Description
CBA is a locally owned family business corporation since 1948.
- Daily call center duties which may include assisting customers with their account status, assisting with status updates, and other duties as assigned.
- Follow customer account on the phone and respond to any questions or requests for assistance.
- Follow all Bainbridge, GA state and local laws regarding phone usage and customer interactions.
- Follow all Bainbridge, GA company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while performing duties at the customer site:
- Perform a variety of tasks requiring independent problem solving, problem solving, documentation, communication, organization, and prioritization.
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer service for all contacts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers and colleagues.
- Proficient in using computers/office software including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a high-volume customer service environment.
- Must be eligible to work in Bainbridge, GA without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.
- Must possess strong verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the company.
- Must possess good judgement and be able to make sound decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
