Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Position Overview
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Creative Manager will manage the development of brand-building ideas, provide leadership and motivation to extract amazing thoughts and ideas from the creative team, as well as be responsible for the management of all creative initiates.
Essential Job Functions
● Coordinate with internal teams and third-party designers / developers to help produce all assets for digital releases Work with Creative team to finalize announcement strategies and ensure these are executed on a local/national/global level on all Sovereign Sounds and its client’s properties.
● Help develop marketing tools to meet the needs of the organization,
● Create pre-roll trailers, ads, posters, banners, photos, etc. and deliver to deadline for each affiliate.
● Manage the Creative team's budget.
● Collaborate with the CEO to ensure all visual content for clients meets organizational standards.
● Keep apprised of market developments, like-artists, agency activity, and competitive products.
● Writing, shooting, and editing promos, social videos, and client commercials.
● Use DSLR cameras, non-linear edit systems, Photoshop and After Effects to complete projects that exceeds client expectations and adhere to Sovereign Sounds’s brand standards.
● Write, produce, and edit PSAs, community event promotion, long-form vignettes, and special programs as needed.
● Attend and contribute to all related company meetings in connection with assigned projects and provide the Chief Executive Officer with timely feedback and follow-up regarding any action items, if applicable.
Skills & Capabilities:
● Strong Background in Photography, Videography, or Design
● Management Skills and Experience
● Background in Marketing, Sales, Productions, or related field
● Strong creative portfolio highlighting relevant/category experience.
● Solid verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients.
● Knowledge of marketing, all forms of advertising, and digital experiences, with proven conceptual and design abilities
● Experience working with large teams in client-facing role.
● Excellent written and presentation skills
● Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
