HYBRID POSITION
Position Description- Apply cost-benefit analysis to identify and prioritize cost reduction ideas, influencing decisions on budget and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to achieve common goals.
- Possess excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with all organizational levels, including senior management.
- Strong analytical and project management skills required.
- Prior experience with manufacturing methods for turbomachinery is a plus.
- Prioritize cost reduction activities aligned with higher-level business strategies and adapt to changing priorities.
- Collaborate with other service organizations to share best practices.
- Experience with Prioneer and One PumaWeb is advantageous.
- Single point of accountability for all baseline cost models for DR61, Vectra, and PGT25 products and services.
- Program management of active cost-out programs for DR61, Vectra, and PGT25 products and services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish target costs aligning with competitive customer pricing and internal profit targets.
- Create a 3-year cost reduction roadmap, reporting on savings and addressing unforeseen/emerging issues monthly.
- Compare actual to baseline costs, identifying adjustments or cost-out opportunities.
- Conduct cost reduction workshops, ensuring identified opportunities are owned, evaluated, and implemented.
- Track cost reductions via PRIOneer and One PumaWeb.
- Collaborate with finance to capture baseline cost savings for proposals and execution projects.
- Work with functional cost managers to drive specific measures from ideation to implementation.
- Support meetings, drive programs, organize reviews, and track/report progress.
