Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have broad secretarial and administrative responsibilities, often of a highly confidential nature, that requires above average and extensive secretarial skills.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribes dictation
- Types and composes correspondence for the Executive Director
- Gathers information for agendas, and records, transcribes and distributes minutes of various types
-Attends and takes minutes at the Board and annual Stockholder meetings
- Proofread documents for errors and inconsistencies
-Provide excellent customer service to visitors and patients
- Operate phone systems to handle incoming calls professionally
- Perform clerical tasks such as copying, scanning and faxing
- Performs some or all of the work of a receptionist including appropriate greeting of visitors, ascertaining the purpose of their business and directing them to the appropriate person of office
-Any other duties that may be asked of me
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a secretarial role or similar position
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
-Knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, fax machines and postage meter
