Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Primary Function Manage and execute corporate strategic financial project reviews; the development of the strategic financial forecast for the company; the preparation of M&A valuation analysis and presentations; the development of investor relations analysis and presentations; the review of opportunities to enhance shareholder value; prepare ad hoc requests, and corporate financial planning as necessary. Supervision: One direct report: Sr. Analyst Strategic Planning (TBC) Key Deliverables: Lead detailed compilation and development of 5-year global strategic financial plan, including strategic deployment of cash Support the preparation of corporate acquisition valuation models and prepare/review regional models Support development of investor relations presentations, including CAGNY and Analyst Day Lead strategic financial project reviews for CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors Establish and maintain company WACC, ROIC, and valuation standard methodology Provide support for ad-hoc multi-segment projects, as needed Develop collaborative and influential relationships with the CFO, Corporate Strategy team, and Investor Relations team Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts within the Corporate Finance team, segment finance teams, and segment strategy teams Assist with corporate financial planning and analysis as necessary, including, but not limited to supporting results reporting, quarterly earnings package, and board of directors presentations Supervise, coach, train and mentor department staff in order to develop knowledgeable and skilled strategic financial personnel Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CPA preferred Must have 7 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, valuation, forecasting, strategy, accounting, or auditing Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple work streams simultaneously Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions.
