Role Description
The Lending Quality Control Specialist will act as a gatekeeper to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained through the lending origination processes. The Lending Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for identification and tracking of missing documentation.
In This Role You Will
- Identify and track missing documentation in loan files
- Collaborate with Lending team members to facilitate a high level of integrity as it relates to data in Sageworks and loan packages
- Be responsible for identification and tracking of missing documentation
- Act as an integral member of the client engagement team that will be involved in each transaction within an assigned portfolio
- Perform post-closing reviews of all new or modified loan transactions
- Analyze executed documents for accuracy and completeness
- Identify any closing errors and/or missing items.
- Ensure required KYC documentation is scanned into system of record
- Ensure loan documents and files are properly scanned into system of record
- Review and clear loan file maintenance alerts in a timely manner
- Use the core system and associated query software monitor loan system data integrity by spotting data inconsistencies
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in processing, document preparations or post-closing commercial loans
- Experience in operational support in a fast paced and high volume loan department
- Extensive knowledge of Commercial loan products
- Ability to understand and use data derived from systems to determine data integrity
- Microsoft suite of products including experience in excel or similar data management programs
- Excellent communication skills
