Configuration Analysis Manager manages the coordination and administration of configuration management activities. Creates and implements configuration management policies and procedures. Being a Configuration Analysis Manager oversees the review of released engineering change data and documentation to ensure that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, Configuration Analysis Manager acts as an advisor to the configuration analysis team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Configuration Analysis Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Configuration Analysis Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the Site Director of Finance and will have a strong working relationship with the Divisional CFO.
- Responsible for department of 4 direct employees over a 1,000 employee vertically integrated campus with annualized revenues of $1B
- Candidate will have accountability over the Cost, FP&A, and Reporting function
- Review and analyze plant inventory transactions
- Responsible for leading month end close process
- Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
- Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures
- Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.
POSTION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required. Advanced degree/and or certification preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc..)
- Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing based experience to demonstrate a solid "cost" background (BOM, absorption/inventory levels, variance analysis)
- Experience leading month end close process
- Targeting "Business Partner" with General Management/Operations (in context to "resource")
