Family Concierge is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Special Needs Nanny / Respite Worker to join a loving family in Webster, NY. This role is perfect for a creative and empathetic professional who excels in providing attentive care and enjoys engaging in artistic activities with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with special needs care for a 9-year-old female with autism, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Develop and implement creative and engaging activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of children in all activities, being knowledgeable in first aid and emergency procedures.
• Foster a supportive and patient atmosphere, especially in stressful situations.
• Occasional assistance with toileting and diaper changing as needed
• Work as a respite worker through Heritage Christian Services, using an app to clock in and out each day.

School Year and Summer Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 2 - 5 p.m. during the school year
• Summer hours will vary, with some weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and other days from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Hours will increase to about 30-40 hours per week during summer school schedule

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, particularly with special needs children, is preferred.
• Comfortable working as a respite worker and managing time through an app.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a standard background check, facilitated through Heritage Christian Services
• Pool supervision experience desired but not required

Compensation:

• $19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, through Heritage Christian Services
