JD:
- The Compensation Analyst plans, designs, evaluates and administers employee compensation programs such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, and performance appraisals.
- Support salary administration programs
- Administer annual bonus, equity award programs, and annual merit planning
- Works with internal and external resources to participate in market study analyses of the base, bonus, and other compensation measures
- Manage salary structure, job codes, and creation and maintenance of career framework
Looking for:
- General HR knowledge (essentially, compensation can be taught) Some titles that are helpful while sourcing: Compensation Specialist/Analyst, Total Rewards Analyst, Benefits Specialist/Analyst, HR Specialist/Analyst
- Dealing with confidential knowledge in any capacity
- Excel guru – this role will deal with some tedious reporting, so experience with pulling together data in spreadsheets
- Detail oriented
This would be a really good starting point for someone who wants to grow within the HR team.
