We are seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician to oversee our commercial properties in Blacksburg. The Commercial Maintenance Technician must constantly be aware of the condition of the commercial property throughout the community and immediately initiate action to correct unsafe conditions. Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services. Will help Residential Maintenance during Turn as needed. Accompanies contractors as necessary to complete or supervise requested work. Performs any additional duties assigned by Regional Maintenance Supervisor and Commercial Site Manager.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in Commercial Maintenance. The Commercial Maintenance Technician must be aware of the condition of physical property throughout the community and immediately correct and/or report unsafe conditions. Schedules and performs minor and routine maintenance on all appropriate equipment on a regular basis. Meet with Commercial Site Manager weekly to discuss open work orders and meet with Regional Maintenance Supervisor a minimum of once a month to discuss site issues, work orders, employee issues, etc.
