DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences by providing quick and efficient beverage service to guests in a friendly and professional manner. This role involves taking drink & food orders, serving cocktails & food, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the service area. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a deep understanding of drink menus. Some light host/door/MD requests might be asked from time to time.

Guest Service:

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer any questions regarding the beverages.
• Take orders, input them into the POS system, and ensure accuracy.
• Serve beverages quickly and efficiently, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Check identification of guests to verify legal drinking age.
• Keep water glasses full and offer beverages in a timely manner

Product Knowledge:

• Have comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
• Be aware of and inform guests about any drink specials or promotions.
• Prepare or garnish drinks as required for service.
• Be mindful of guest allergies as they relate to food and beverage orders

Order Accuracy & Timeliness:

• Communicate effectively with the bar staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
• Deliver food/drinks to the correct tables and customers with proper presentation.

Cleanliness & Safety:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including bar counters and tables.
• Clear used glasses and plates quickly to keep the area tidy.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to all responsible beverage service regulations, ensuring the safety of all guests.

 ABOUT YOU

• Strong experience in a similar role or as a bartender within a cocktail bar.
• Have excellent spirits & classic cocktails knowledge.
• Attention to details.
• Social, engaging and motivated.
• Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
• Must have availability for Sunday and Monday
