CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER manages the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a director. The CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     JOB SUMMARY (Added May 2024)

    This role will lead sourcing, procurement, and vendor management responsibilities across a broad portfolio of technology and services vendors with a focus on developing and implementing an end-to-end procurement process, including data-driven supplier selection and management processes, Purchase Order system, process and policy management and implementing compliance strategies as needed. The Procurement manager will also execute effective sourcing strategies, providing recommendations on expense mitigation, and collaborating with business partners to support stakeholder requirements and cost management and reduction activities.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develops and communicates a procurement business plan; establish, communicate, and implement long-term goals for the department to promote effectiveness, control and efficiency
    • Manage relationships, negotiations, and contracts with vendors and distributors consistent with the procurement business plan
    • Work with BUs to forecast supply and demand for major vendors appropriately; Oversee purchase order process/system for the order/approve of necessary goods and services
    • Identifies opportunity areas such as product standardization and supplier consolidation to reduce costs while improving quality and service levels
    • Develop and execute vendor risk assessment process in conjunction with security and compliance leadership
    • Risk management of supply chain constraints
    • Manage workflow from initiation to receipt of product

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

    • 5 years contract negotiation and vendor management experience with required knowledge of technology procurement specifics
    • Knowledge/experience of software license negotiation and vendor management
    • Working knowledge/experience managing a purchase order system
    • Experience with NetSuite and IT hardware is a plus
    • Experiencing and comfort in reporting financial and contract updates to senior level audience.
    • Travel Requirements: Domestic and/or International, up to 10%

    Education & Experience Requirements

    • Minimum years of work experience: 7 years
    • Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience
