Claims Quality Auditor audits claims for coding accuracy, benefit payment, contract interpretation, and compliance with policies and procedures. Selects claims through random processes and/or other criteria. Being a Claims Quality Auditor makes recommendations to improve quality, workflow processes, policies and procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Claims Quality Auditor typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. The Claims Quality Auditor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: As a team member, you will utilize your accounting and auditing skills as part of an audit team that evaluates compliance with Federal laws and regulations, oil and gas industry regulations, and Office of Natural Resources Revenue policies and procedures. A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Transcripts and other education documentation must be provided. You must be a U.S. citizen. Background and security clearance are required. We are interested in candidates who possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Minimal travel is required.

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, proficiency in Excel, Word, and CAATS, and a valid driver’s license.

    SALARY/BENEFITS: The Oklahoma State Auditor and Inspector’s Office offers the following benefits package:

    · Competitive salary - entry level $48,000 - $52,000 range; salary is commensurate with education and experience.
