Child Life Program Director manages and directs pediatric programs, therapies, and activities among young patients. Evaluates programs and recommends changes to improve care for childhood hospitalizations or disabilities. Being a Child Life Program Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Child Life Program Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. The primary responsibilities include engaging residents of low-income communities as partners in building thriving communities while increasing their knowledge skills, and influence in local change. The Co-Director of Civic Engagement’s role is to partner with their Co-Director and other partners to organize, facilitate, and coordinate civic engagement activities. The position will also develop programs that foster civic engagement and leadership and identify where the agency can make a significant impact on civic and community engagement. All tasks will be performed in a safe and courteous manner consistent with all agency policies and state and federal law. Must be able to speak Spanish fluently.
This is a part-time position 20 hours a week with paid time off (PTO).
