The Adoption Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Fall River Adoption Program and ensures that clinical standards and administrative requirements for the program are fully met. The Program Director actively collaborates with the Lawrence Adoption program to establish team cohesion between sites and share best practices, knowledge, and resources to accomplish program goals.
Qualifications:
- A completed Master’s degree in Social Work or closely related field from an accredited educational institution
- A minimum of five years’ experience in human services
- Must have excellent organizational and communications skills
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency’s needs.
- Responsible for the overall management of the Adoption program including implementation of the program, meeting contractual obligations and processing contract renewals
- Responsible for individual and group supervision of Adoption supervisor and may include support staff, case managers, and fee-for-service workers
- Maintain computerized statistics for the program on a quarterly basis
- Responsible for quality assurance and client satisfaction questionnaires
- Participate on Child Welfare CQI Committee
- Process monthly billing and assist Finance Department with budget development and management
- Monitor program referrals and case assignments
- Participate in the coordination of in-service and educational seminars for staff
- Ensure all staff have access and training to Familynet and iFamilynet
- Maintain a high quality of work at all times
- Maintain a positive working relationship with agency staff, supervisors, and community contacts
- Maintain a level of professionalism
- Participates in independent education and training opportunities
- Participates in management team meetings
