Job Summary
Commercializing new technology is core to supporting Functional Form’s growth strategy. The Global T&L Leader will have responsibility for technology, innovation, research, development efforts and technical resource management. He/She will ensure that these efforts are aligned with business unit and financial, strategic, organization and performance goals.
How you can Be the Impact
As a key member of the Functional Forms business team, The T&I leader is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of the strategic technology plan for film and sheet based materials in application spaces that go into B&C, Mass Transportation, Specialty Glazing and Electrical and Electronics markets. The T&I leader is also accountable for managing a $7-8MM Operating Budget with excellent controllership and judgment.
He/She will help make the T&I function in the FF business to be a leading function by effectively influencing senior leaders with technology plans that enable near term results while paving path for sustained, long-term business growth
The T&L Leader must bring a strong external commercialization focus and proven record for streamlining processes, while developing key performance indicators, in order to make technical success synonymous with business success.
He/She will lead and Inspire a technology organization of 30 global resources to deliver extraordinary results. He/She must be market oriented and bring an outward focus to the organization and develop/mentor/rebuild the technology team globally.
