This well-respected 60 bed non-profit hospital is a center of high patient care and excellence. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and the Chief Nursing Officer.
Supported by all department directors and a committee of passionate compliance and ethics-focused staff, this person will lead an outstanding and busy hospital in compliance and ethics initiatives. The Chief Compliance Officer will work with the hospital staff, educators, and other leaders to develop new patient care initiatives and compliance efforts as they are needed.
The Chief Compliance Officer will be in charge of developing and implementing departmental goals and standards that align with the clinical objectives, goals, and values of the hospital, as well as The Joint Commission. This individual will oversee the hospital’s insurance programs, including coordinating claims while serving as legal counsel and acting as a mediator in cases with providers, family members, staff, and patients. This individual will provide education to all staff on compliance and ethics topics as well. Most importantly, the Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for creating an environment that promotes safe, outstanding care, and encourages growth throughout the hospital.
