Chemical Engineer conducts research and development projects involving the study of chemical reactions and material properties to innovate and develop new products or optimize existing products. Designs experiments and builds prototypes and models used to investigate and support the development of improved chemicals, materials, products, and manufacturing processes. Being a Chemical Engineer compiles and analyzes testing data. Presents research results used to estimate costs, establish performance standards, identify solutions, and facilitate processes. Additionally, Chemical Engineer maintains lab and plant safety procedures for chemical storage, handling, transport, and disposal. Complies with all safety and environmental regulations. Description
The Chemical DOT Driver’s primary responsibility is to transport chemical products and goods to and from our location to specified locations. This is mostly a local/regional position with the possibility of overnight trips occasionally. Overnight trips could be required more often in the future as business needs dictate and will be required if we have regional orders to deliver.
Loads will be primarily bulk tanker hazmat transport with most days home nightly at this time. Dry Vans are used also. You must have a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements, Tanker experience, and no automatic restriction.
Hourly Position paid for hours recorded in logs driving or not driving.
Cell phone reimbursement available or company cell phone provided.
Regularly scheduled meals while on overnights are covered with your company credit card.
