Ceramics Engineer develops manufacturing processes and equipment for converting ceramics into useful products. Being a Ceramics Engineer researches and selects the appropriate hand and power tools to be used in the production process. Tests finished ceramics to ensure quality, consistency, and durability standards have been met according to specifications. Additionally, Ceramics Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Ceramics Engineer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Duties

    • Produce effective and high-quality project documents (including reports, drawings, and specifications)
    • Provide bidding and construction administration services.
    • Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
    • Communicate directly with and maintain client relationships.

    Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

    The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
