Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated person for the role of Catering & Events Manager. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making sales calls, working with a kitchen’s leadership team, and being hands-on in the setup and execution of events.

What you'll do:

• Respond to incoming catering & event requests
• Maintain current client relationships and foster more extensive contacts within those organization
• Give tours of event and meeting space to prospective clients
• Become an expert in our menu and ingredients to know, understand, and be able to explain menu options
• Contact current & prospective clients in-person, by phone, and by email
• Generate invoices & collect payments
• Schedule servers and coordinate drivers
• Work and have great communication with owners, kitchen manager, and other team members to ensure accuracy of orders and on-time delivery to clients
• Participate in the hiring process for and train event staff
• Contact current & prospective clients in-person, by phone, and by email
• Occasionally make deliveries and be the on-site manager of events
• Work at least one weekend event each month
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays

It would be nice if you have:

• 4 years of catering or hospitality event execution experience
• 2 years of management experience
• 2 years of sales experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Evenings as needed
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:
