POSITION SUMMARY:
The Catering Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling, coordination of public and Tribal events, seminars, conferences, weddings, and services for casino and/or community organizations. Coordinator is required to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to coordinate and attend evening and weekend events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Attends events to assist with the facilitation of operations and responds to issues or problems, etc. Ensures assigned aspects of events are detailed, implemented, and controlled according to plan.
Maintains records on event activities, daily progress, and status
Coordinates with the Catering Manager daily on upcoming events
Good communication skills with staff and client
General knowledge of Food and Beverage operations and standard office practices
Coordinates event logistics and activities with other staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with events and brand
Maintains facility and/or event calendars, updating as necessary
Organization and time management skills
OPERA / Caterease (Sales and Catering) detail aspects of event orders, contracts, and/or additional sales reports
All other duties as assigned.
