Cardiology Director jobs in Massachusetts
Cardiology Director leads and directs the staff and programs of the cardiology department. Works closely with hospital staff and physicians to implement standards for patient care that comply with all laws and regulations. Being a Cardiology Director ensures the department meets the current needs and addresses the future needs of patients by introducing new technologies, services, and procedures. This position does not require MD. Additionally, Cardiology Director requires a master's degree. Typically reports to an executive. The Cardiology Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Cardiology Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Company Description
South Shore Cardiology is seeking a dynamic and talented Nurse Practitioner to join our fast paced practice in Weymouth. This position is full/part-time. The candidate must have excellent assessment skills, clinical judgment and documentation skills.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for providing excellent care for our patients. As an advanced practice nurse, the NP has received specialized training and education in the management of Cardiology patients. Both office and hospital positions available.
Responsibilities:
- The NP practices in collaboration with the attending physician and other members of the multidisciplinary team to insure optimal patient care.
- Comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment
- Prescribing and performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Independent development, evaluation and modification of treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing required.
- Current MA Nurse Practitioner license required.
- Registered with the ANCC or other accrediting organization for Nurse Practitioner.
- ACLS/BLS certification required.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Registered with the State of Massachusetts and DEA for prescription writing privileges.
- Previous Cardiology experience

Pay: $68,600.00 - $80,000.00 per year
