Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. International Sound Corporation is currently seeking local Camera Operators for the production and recording of a live television broadcast show for a Thoroughbred Racetrack located in Henderson, Kentucky. The candidates should have expreience in the operations of a professional broadcast camera in a live environment. The candidates will be required to take direction from the Technical Director. The candidates must be available to work all racing performances and have reliable transportation. The positions are part time offering approximately 18 hours per week and is seasonal from July 4th through August 26th. Racing on opening week will be Thursday July 4th through Sunday July 7th. Thereafter, racing will be conducted Saturdays through Mondays. Work shifts will be 11:45 AM until approximately 6:30 PM all live racing days. The candidate must obtain an occupational license with the Kentucky Racing Commission at the racetrack after they are hired. The starting rate of pay for this position is $25.00 per hour..
