Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Overview:
We are seeking two talented Camera Operators to join our team for a high school track event. The ideal candidate will have a passion for videography and possess expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other video production tools.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cameras and associated equipment during livestream production
- Collaborate with the director and other team members to capture desired shots
- Set up camera and audio equipment in the morning/breakdown after event
- Assist with production tasks to ensure a successful event
- Work outside in the heat and standing for long periods of time
Skills:
The ideal candidate should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Sports or track & field videography
- Camera and audio systems for livestream purposes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Event dates:

Location: Hodges Stadium- University of North Florida
Rate: $250 for 10/hour day. $25/hour overtime after that
