Job Description
Responsible for daily operations in the Count Room and Casino Cage which includes but is not limited to chip bank, marker bank, main bank, front windows and general cashiering functions.
Job Duties
Interview, hire, counsel, and train cage employees as needed. Plan staff schedules to meet operational needs. Responsible for departmental budget. Handles customer service and employee related concerns with professionalism. Plan, participate, and attend departmental meetings. Develop department standard operating procedures. Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within cage and count room areas. Train all cage and count team members in anti-money laundering including suspicious transactions and cash in/out transactions. Ensure compliance to check cashing requirements. Knowledge of and enforcement of internal controls, policies and procedures. Ensure timely research and resolutions to Casino, internal and external audit exceptions. Ensure all cage and count equipment is in working order. Responsible for implementing all procedures for balancing and maintaining all ticket redemption units. Maintain Cage supplies inventory on hand for day-to-day business needs. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Authorized to extend complimentary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred. Must have three years Shift Manager Cage experience in a high volume, complex casino environment. Must have a thorough knowledge of all cage operations with direct oversight of department within a high volume casino environment. Must have a thorough knowledge of casino regulatory rules and regulations and casino internal and accounting control procedures.
Must possess basic spreadsheet skills and be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
