NTT Data's client is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in REMOTE, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).
Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis):

• Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
• Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
• Helping develop reports and analysis.
• Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
• Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
• Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
• Training end users on new reports and dashboards.
• Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the minimum skills required to this job, have to be measurable, objective and not comparative)

• 3 years of technical experience in data analysis
• 7 year of comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• 3 years of experience in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis; need to be an expert
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Nice to Have; (But not a must)

• Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or more years of experience in SQL, SAS or other data systems
• In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.
• Experience with data mining and predictive modeling techniques
• Ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is (HOURLY RATE 40 TO 45). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
