Budget Manager manages and coordinates budgeting activities and the implementation of the organization's budget policies and guidelines. Monitors actual performance against estimates and prepares annual and interim budgets. Being a Budget Manager coordinates budget appropriations and responds to exception requests for funds. Monitors and analyzes performance against budgets. Additionally, Budget Manager implements and supports tools and reporting used for planning, forecasting, monitoring, and decision support. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting. Typically reports to a director. The Budget Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Budget Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What you’ll do:

    • Effectively manage dealers and company assets to achieve maximum revenue and utilization while adhering to all cost saving objectives
    • Utilize key business drivers such as revenue, revenue per unit, utilization, and transactions to position fleet for maximum return
    • Schedule and prioritize daily runs to fulfill reservations, communicate placement of reservations, and directly assist customers in resolving inquiries and work to resolve any potential inventory fulfillment issues
    • Leverage information systems to optimize maintenance scheduling and PM currency and communicate maintenance performance deficiencies with appropriate field management
    • Identify and move all trucks designated for disposal from the active fleet
    • Monitor daily inventory requirements, transfer service performance, cost and driver quality

    What we’re looking for:

    • High School Diploma, plus 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of customer service experience; OR Associates Degree, plus 2 years of supervisory experience and 1 year of customer service; OR Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 year of work experience
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced working environment
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build loyalty and strong relationships with both internal and external customers
    • Proficient computer skills including Excel
    • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule (some weekends)
    • This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
