Sr Electrical Design Engineer

about the role

Support for advanced electrical design and installation for all of our Avionics products. Besides being able to work cross functionally across a variety of our cutting-edge products, your role would involve a combination of quintessential technical work, and technical leadership. Responsibilities such as; wire routing/ harnessing, schematic review, troubleshooting, and further documentation.

You will be required and will learn a strong understanding of various post-production FAA certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership over required testing (EMI) in order to ensure correct verification for the installed Avionics product.
• Operate cross functionally between various project teams, to ensure all activities related to the development of new installations and modifications.
• Become a champion of certification efforts for electrical system installation, in accordance to FAA standards.
• Cover electrical wire harnessing, wire routing, wire grouping and documentation, in accordance to schematic diagrams.
• Support and dedicate yourself to AutoCAD engineering activity in accordance to Avionics engineering protocols.

Qualifications:

• a BS/MS in any electrical engineering related field.
• Ideally over 3 years of career experience.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering/Design Experience.
• EMI/EMC Testing knowledge.
• DO178B understanding.
• Electrical Design Protocols: Digital, AutoCAD, Schematics, Wiring etc.
• Modelling simulation experience: SolidWorks, MATLAB, Simulink etc.
