Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations.
Duties:
- Manage and lead a team of front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Create employee schedules and ensure proper staffing levels to meet customer demand
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and bar
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Maintain inventory of front-of-house supplies and place orders as needed
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including shift management, banquet services, and restaurant management software
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training front-of-house staff
