Kiswani Law is a boutique family law firm that helps our clients through  their pre decree and post decree divorce cases, their pre decree and post decree Allocation of Parenting Rights (i.e. used to be named custody) cases, and is passionate about our Gaurdian ad Litem and Child Representative work. We solely focus on family law, and have a handful of adoption cases. We  ensure that our clients are able to resolve their legal difficulties while also getting the most beneficial outcome possible. We are based in Hickory Hills and our office is located near I-294 off of 95th street.

We have a fast-paced practice and we rarely have "slow days." We attribute our excellent reputation and our growth years of great client service and dedicated, loyal teamwork. We put a great deal of emphasis on both of those principles within our office in order to offer an open and positive work environment. We want our team members to reach their own goals and dreams.

This is an in person position.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association approved Law School.
• Illinois Bar License, and must be in good standing.
• 2 years of experience working in a Family law firm performing the functions of an Associate Attorney.
• PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• IMac profiency required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of judicial system, court procedures, legal research and legal writing.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and the highest ethical standards
• Detail and deadline driven.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and move amongst tasks and changing priorities effectively.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into understandable guidance.
• Detail and deadline orientation as well as PC proficiency to include Excel and Word Document.

Some job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Remote and in person Court Appearances.
• Preparing and drafting motions, pleadings, judgments, statements, documents, and other correspondence.
• Prepare and drafting discovery requests and answers.
• Maintaining Managing attorney calendars and case files.
• Building client relationships.
• Maintaining effective communication with clients and other parties.
• Court and trial preparation.

Compensation:

Salary depends on experience.
