HERE IS A ROADMAP OF YOUR FIRST YEAR – WHICH MAY INCLUDE:
Within the first 60 days:
· Travels with 2-3 School Service Representatives on school routes to gain an understanding of the impact that Eckroth Music has on the children within different assigned schools.
· Meets with the CEO to review major objectives, develop rapport/trust, and have general discussions of the market, business, and the team.
· Is introduced to key ESOP partners: Trustee, Legal, Accounting, TPA, etc.
· Independently monitors and assesses organizational performance against the vision and strategic goals laid out by the CEO and collaboratively adjusts tactics when needed to successfully execute our strategy.
2 to 6 months and ongoing:
· Begins to establish a framework for strategic planning and continuing a culture of “Team Before Self.”
· Leads a state of the company meeting where the team believes we achieve more together and participates in a board meeting.
· Assesses the senior leadership team to identify talent needs and gaps and creates high quality plans.
· Is recognized by internal/external key stakeholders as the senior point of contact for Eckroth Music and has established clear expectations amongst team members.
· By 6 months, develops a strategic planning framework and a process for implementation surrounding talent, the talent gap, financial model, etc.
9-12 months and ongoing:
· Continues the CEO’s work of implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overarching goals to all team members to ensure a unified vision.
· Recommends a Human Capital Strategy including tactics to further evolve Eckroth Music’s approach to talent acquisition, talent management, and succession planning.
· Reports to the CEO and the board progress, alignment, and positive operational and leadership team growth results across locations and functions.

Requirements
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· 5 years of experience building, leading, and successfully executing strategic planning within a business organization required
· 6 years of demonstrated executive leadership experience (i.e., strategic management of teams, driving organizational growth, fostering a culture of excellence) required
· 5 years of comprehensive experience in overseeing Profit and Loss (P&L) functions with proficiency in financial strategy, budgetary management, and driving profitability required
· 4 years of experience in leading and scaling B2C growth plans for multi-location and/or multistate business required
· Demonstrated ability to successfully integrate cross-functional strategies and initiatives, fostering cohesion, collaboration, and synergy across all organizational facets required
· A financially savvy leader with the ability to set clear priorities, delegate, and guide investment in people and systems; keen analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills, which support and enable sound decision-making required
· Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders; a persuasive facilitator able to achieve consensus amongst differing opinions required
· Outstanding presentation and communication skills and the experience and proclivity to be an outgoing spokesperson, and relationship builder required
· Strong commitment to the professional development of staff; successful track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams required
· Proven experience and knowledge of Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) frameworks, driving organizational alignment, accountability, and sustainable growth strategies a huge plus
· Background in instrumental or music education, either personally or through family involvement a huge plus
