Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant supports Senior Management and each of Arc’s business groups. The role involves a variety of business and administrative functions. These could include research, portfolio management, systems review and implementation, as well as typical administrative activities including schedule coordination, logistics planning, and providing call/meeting support for Arc’s groups.
We function in many areas of the globe in venture capital and in the US in real estate. The successful applicant will have a team role in all of our activities both in the United States and abroad.
The successful applicant must be able to work independently and possess strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The applicant should be prepared to undertake special projects, as assigned from time to time, including projects at the intersection of business and operations.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have the following minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and pro-active problem solving
• Ability to work tactfully and effectively with a diverse group
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, follow-through and report back, and manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). Substantial experience with Zoom, Dropbox, Slack, and Google platforms a plus.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure
• Ability to quickly and accurately analyze problems and identify appropriate solutions
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including tact, poise, professionalism, diplomacy, and a good sense of humor
• Flexibility and a “can do” approach to dynamic circumstances
• Experience working with international colleagues a plus
