Job Summary:
We're on the lookout for a dynamic Assistant Property Manager to join our team, offering a prime opportunity to kickstart your career in property management or other Real Estate activities. This entry-level role aims to guide and support you on the path to acquiring your real estate license. As an integral part of our team, you'll collaborate closely with the Property Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our residential properties.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Property Manager to oversee property maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations
- Coordinate property showings, providing prospective tenants with exceptional service
- Perform routine expediting by posting notices, vacancy inspections, delivering keys, etc.
- Maintain meticulous records of property transactions and expenses to uphold financial transparency
- Assist in drafting leasing agreements and managing lease renewals with precision
- Manage property listings across various platforms, ensuring accuracy and appeal
- Facilitate rent collection processes and contribute to financial reporting activities
Skills:
- Proficiency in calendar management to efficiently schedule appointments and property viewings
- Prior experience in office administration, particularly within the real estate sector, is advantageous
- Exceptional customer service skills to foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors
- Keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in proofreading lease agreements and other documentation
- Familiarity with phone systems to handle incoming calls and messages effectively
- Previous experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role is highly beneficial
- Comfort with property management software is preferred, showcasing your computer literacy
- Basic knowledge of property manager duties is advantageous
