Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) conducts commercial real estate appraisals and property ratings to establish the market value generally used for investment guidance, lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting and documenting on-site property inspections. Being an Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) performs data collection and research on building permits, prior assessments, and relevant market and economic conditions that impact property value. Reviews building plans and specifications and investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Additionally, Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.   • Our client, a well-established and growing Commercial Real Estate Management and Brokerage company, is seeking an experienced COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGER to oversee the Overland Park, KS newly acquired and developed property.

    The commercial manager will be responsible for overseeing a 730k SF of Class A office space.


    The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes to be considered:

    • A minimum of 3 years as a COMMERCIAL Property Manager within a Commercial Property Management or Brokerage company, is required.
    • Outstanding experience on the operational side of property management.
    • Customer Service skills that exceed expectations.
    • Working knowledge of business and management principles is required.
    • Inductive reasoning skills and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • CAM and vendor management experience is required.
    • A Bachelor's degree in business administration is highly preferred..
    • RPA or RPM certification.
    • A Kansas Real Estate License is highly preferred.


    Day-to-day duties may vary.

    • This position oversees an Assistant Property Manager and maintenance team. This position reports to the corporate office and property owner.
    • The commercial property manager will be responsible for all reports.
    • Budgeting and financial accountability.
    • Tenant relations.
    • Reviewing tenant invoices and submitting outstanding invoices.
    • Planning and scheduling general maintenance needs.
    • Coordination with third-party vendors.
